Job Title: jr. Java Developer

Position Purpose

We seek a jr. Java Developer with Java expertise and a grasp of modern software‑development methodologies. jr. Java Developer will own the full SDLC—from requirements definition through deployment—partnering with cross‑functional teams to ensure on‑time, quality delivery. Core duties include:

Driving technical initiatives within the business vertical
Anticipating and resolving complex technical challenges, providing guidance, and taking overall ownership of solutions.
Operating in a globally distributed environment and serving as the go‑to technical authority, while fostering a collaborative “first‑among‑equals” culture.

Responsibilities

Direct Responsibilities

contribute in software development projects from inception to deployment, ensuring that projects are completed on time and to the required quality standards.
Establish regular code reviews tied to on-going components / projects development
Work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, QA engineers, business analysts, and stakeholders, to ensure that project requirements are clearly defined and understood.
Ensure that project deliverables meet the required quality standards, and that all project documentation is complete and up-to-date.
Stay up to date with the latest relevant technologies and development methodologies, and apply this knowledge to improve project delivery.
Guide teams to align with shift left and shift right strategy by encouraging a mindset for automation first and reduce recursive manual efforts
Resolve performance bottlenecks

Hands-on experience Core Java, J2EE, Spring framework, Spring Boot, ,SQL (basic queries, data model, indexation)
Hands-on knowledge on backend technologies
Good to have Experience of working with build tools like Maven & DevOps tools like Bitbucket, Git, Jenkins, SonarQube.
Strong experience of Agile, Scrum, DevOps.
Good to have Development experience of MVC Architecture based web applications, including creation of Web Services (RESTful APIs/ SOAP Services).
Ability & willingness to learn & work on diverse technologies (languages, frameworks, and tools).
Self-motivated, good interpersonal skills and inclination to constantly upgrade on new technologies and frameworks.
