QA Automation Engineer

At Bookipi, we’re building the future of fintech + AI tools for businesses worldwide. From invoicing and payroll to automation. We’ve grown 10x in the last year, and we’re just getting started. We’re looking for a QA Automation Engineer to help us scale even faster.

What you’ll do

• Define and execute test strategies across web applications
• Build and maintain automated test suites (unit, integration, end-to-end)
• Identify, document, and track bugs to resolution
• Collaborate closely with developers to improve product quality early in the cycle
• Ensure reliability, performance, and scalability of releases

Must-have

• Strong experience in test automation using JavaScript
• Experience with modern testing frameworks (Cypress, Playwright, or similar)
• Solid understanding of test design, test cases, and debugging
• Experience testing frontend applications (React or similar)
• Experience working with production-level applications

Nice to have

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automated test integration
• Familiarity with cloud environments (AWS or similar)
• Experience with API testing (Postman, Supertest, or similar)
• Exposure to performance or load testing tools
• Experience working in fast-paced, product-driven environments
