Job Summary

The Product Owner, 3 is a vital member of the agile team, collaborating with Product Managers to define a clear tactical vision for product development. They focus on end-user experience and maintain clarity for the team to ensure successful delivery of new and existing digital capabilities. The Product Owner, 3 is aligned to a scrum team and drives the feature backlog.

Essential Job Functions

• Influence the digital capabilities roadmap, identify new features and add to backlog. This involves staying up-to-date with industry developments, analyzing market data, and using insights to inform product decisions and prioritize initiatives based on data analytics and market analysis.
• Prioritize and maintain product backlog. Lead multiple agile teams while managing relationships with key stakeholders and leadership. This involves presenting product updates, gathering feedback, and ensuring alignment with the overall business strategy.
• Manage activities for business requirements documentation, risk identification, and mitigation. Identify and implement process improvements to enhance product development efficiency. This includes streamlining workflows, adopting new tools and methodologies, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
• Build partnerships within the Scrum team, ensure stable and operational capabilities, and manage cross-functional team dependencies.
• Guide and support Product Owners by providing advice, sharing best practices and helping them develop their skills and knowledge. May participate in recruitment and associate engagement efforts.
  
  
  

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Product Management, Business Analysis or Information Technology
• 5+ years in product management, information technology, or related field such as business analysis, with experience in Agile development techniques and managing third-party vendor integration products.
  
  
  

Preferred Qualifications

• 7+ years experience in product management, business analysis, information technology, financial services, payment, or online and mobile platforms.
