Role Overview

We are seeking a Senior Cloud Engineer to lead the design, implementation, and operational support of our next-generation technical infrastructure supporting Broadridge’s strategic applications and services. You will combine technical expertise with business acumen to deliver highly automated, scalable, and reliable infrastructure that meets or exceeds industry standards for availability, performance, and cost efficiency.

You’ll thrive in our collaborative, cross-functional environment, guiding projects from concept to launch and championing our commitment to operational excellence. You will also mentor junior associates and play a critical role in upholding Broadridge’s reputation for reliability and innovation.

This role follows a hybrid setup. You will primarily work from home but are required to report onsite at our Ayala Avenue, Makati office 4x per month.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and support robust, scalable, and secure technical infrastructure solutions aligned with business requirements and goals.
• Automate operational processes and deployment pipelines to maximize system availability, reliability, and capacity, leveraging tools like Terraform, Chef, Jenkins, and AWS.
• Monitor and maintain service health using Service Level Objectives (SLOs), metrics, and Service Level Indicators (SLIs), ensuring continuous improvement and rapid incident response.
• Collaborate across teams, including application development, security, database, architecture, and vendor stakeholders, to define and review infrastructure designs for new and existing projects.
• Lead troubleshooting and preventative maintenance efforts to resolve production issues and ensure capacity, scaling, security, and uptime of all Broadridge services.
• Participate in technical design sessions, translating business requirements into detailed, actionable technical designs that prioritize automation, performance, and cost optimization.
• Guide, mentor, and support more junior associates, ensuring high-quality results and fostering a spirit of shared learning.
  
  

Your Profile

• 6–8+ years of experience with commercial service infrastructure at both a software and infrastructure level.
• Hands-on experience with common AWS services
• Strong understanding of system design and architecture, DevOps principles, service monitoring, troubleshooting, and deployment automation.
• Experience with automation and scripting tools such as Terraform, Chef, Jenkins, Python, Shell, or Perl.
• Working knowledge of Linux and Windows operating systems.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Proficiency with full-stack development tools and technologies and a keen ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Excellent collaboration, analytical, and communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively in high-pressure, rapidly changing environments.
  
  

Preferred Qualifications

• 5–7+ years of programming and application systems experience, especially within cloud and microservices architecture.
• Knowledge of next-generation design patterns and cloud-native architectures.
• Passion for learning new technologies, driving process improvement, and fostering growth in others.
