About The Opportunity

The IT and Security Engineer will oversee all IT and information security activities for XXX, providing hands-on support to local employees while coordinating with head office to ensure alignment and compliance with IT, cybersecurity, and risk management policies. This role is responsible for maintaining Otoritas Jasa Keuangan regulatory compliance and implementing global security best practices.

The ideal candidate will have strong Fintech domain expertise and a proven track record of collaborating with global teams to effectively communicate local requirements and ensure timely delivery of solutions.

Responsibilities

Global Collaboration: Partner with global IT and security teams to align and ensure consistency across regions.
Cybersecurity Operations: Respond to escalations Security Operations Teams for threat detection and incident response, coordinating with global teams.
Vendor Oversight: Manage third-party from both IT and CyberSecurity risks in line with OJK and global policies.
Training: Implement local and global IT and security awareness programs for employees and users.
Security Baseline: Ensure locally managed systems adhere to global and local security policies and standards. Conduct Regular reviews to ensure compliance.
Technical Support: Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 technical support in person, or via email, chat, and video calls
Troubleshoot issues: related to Windows/macOS, Google Workspace, Office 365, WiFi, and network connectivity
Onboarding/Offboarding: Assist with onboarding/offboarding processes including device setup and account provisioning

Requirements

6-10 years in IT Infrastructure management, as well as cybersecurity, preferably in fintech/crypto, banking, tech, or insurance with global team experience.
Understanding of OJK digital asset regulations; global frameworks (e.g., SOC2/SSC v9) a plus.
Through knowledge of Networking, Windows, MacOS and Linux Operating Systems.
Expertise in AWS and Google Cloud Services.
Self Starter, Strong Communication, and cross-border collaboration skills.
Fluent in English and Bahasa.
