Data Analyst – BI Team

Role Overview

We are looking for a Data Analyst who can turn data into clear insights, feasible directions, and strategic recommendations for business teams.

The ideal candidate should demonstrate strong analytical thinking, structured problem solving, and storytelling ability, and be comfortable working with stakeholders across both technical and non-technical teams.

Key Responsibilities

Business Analysis & Insight

• Analyze datasets to identify patterns, trends, and opportunities
• Translate business questions into data-driven analysis
• Deliver actionable insights and strategic recommendations

Stakeholder Collaboration

• Work closely with various teams such as business, marketing, finance, operations, tech, customer service, data engineering, etc.
• Understand business context and propose data-supported insights and strategies
• Present findings through clear storytelling, visualization, and structured communication

Data Exploration & Reporting

• Explore different types of data (transaction, product usage, marketing, operations, customer behavior, etc.) to identify insights and opportunities
• Build dashboards, reports, or analytical outputs to support decision-making

Data Analysis & Tooling

• Use analytical tools and data platforms to extract, analyze, and visualize data
• Maintain analytical workflows using tools such as SQL or BI tools

Required Skills

• At least 3 years of experience in a similar role
• Strong logical thinking and critical thinking
• Strong problem-solving mindset
• Ability to translate business questions into structured analytical approaches
• Strong data storytelling and presentation skills
• Ability to communicate insights clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders

Technical Skills (Nice to Have)

Experience with some of the following tools is a plus:

• SQL
• Python / R
• Visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, Looker Studio)
• GitHub / Bitbucket
• Data workflow tools (dbt, Airflow)
• AI tools for analytics (ChatGPT, Gemini, etc.)

Domain Knowledge (Bonus)

• Experience or exposure in banking, finance, or fintech.
