Environmental Data Analyst – Reporting & Assurance

Work setup: We operate in a hybrid work environment, and we encourage applicants who are open to working in the office two days a week to apply.

Work schedule: Monday to Friday, 3PM to 11PM Manila time, to overlap with UK operating hours, with some flexibility to adjust hours where needed to support collaboration across other time zones

Employment type: Permanent

Location: Makati City, Metro Manila

Pay range: ₱33,000 to ₱44,000

We are looking for a dedicated Environmental Data Analyst to join our Environment Operations team, playing a key role in ensuring environmental data is robust, accurate, complete and well documented. The role is responsible for building strong relationships with data providers across the organisation, supporting and educating colleagues to strengthen the quality and consistency of reporting.

What will you do as an Environmental Data Analyst?

Reporting to the Head of Environmental Accounting & Reporting, your accountabilities will include:

  • Environmental data management: Supporting the day‑to‑day running of environmental data systems to ensure timely and consistent data submission.
  • Data quality and controls: Carrying out data quality checks to ensure completeness, accuracy, consistency, and proper documentation, maintaining clear audit trails.
  • Issue resolution and assurance support: Monitoring data quality issues, following up with data owners, supporting audits, and helping implement improvements for more reliable reporting.
  • Stakeholder engagement: Working with colleagues across the organisation to communicate reporting requirements, provide guidance, and support timely and accurate data submissions.
  • Reporting and continuous improvement: Preparing regular reports and dashboards, supporting data analysis, and contributing to continuous improvement of systems, processes, and environmental data management practices.

What makes you the ideal candidate for this role?

An ideal candidate has the following qualities:

Essential:

  • Holds a degree or equivalent analytical experience using SQL, Power BI, Python, or similar tools for reporting, validation checks, and basic automation.
  • Shows working knowledge or interest in environmental and carbon reporting, with willingness to learn greenhouse gas accounting and recognised reporting standards.
  • Applies strong data quality and governance principles, including accuracy, consistency, traceability, and evidence retention.
  • Exhibits experience managing datasets, investigating data issues, reconciling figures, and working to fixed reporting timelines.
  • Demonstrates strong organisation and communication skills, with attention to detail and the ability to work independently within defined procedures.

Desirable:

  • Previous exposure to greenhouse gas accounting, environmental data, or sustainability audits and assurance.
  • Experience working with multiple stakeholders across different teams and locations.
