Data Engineer

Job Description

Your Role

As a Data & AI Engineering Specialist, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying scalable data pipelines and intelligent data solutions for healthcare, pharmaceutical, and regulated industry use cases. You will work closely with data scientists, AI engineers, and domain experts to enable high‑quality data ingestion, processing, and retrieval, supporting advanced analytics and AI‑driven platforms.

In this role, you will:

• Design and develop data pipelines using Python, SQL, Snowflake, Apache Airflow, and AWS Step Functions.
• Build and maintain robust APIs for data ingestion, transformation, and consumption.
• Implement data extraction using web‑scraping frameworks where applicable.
• Develop and manage workflows using AWS services such as S3, Glue, Lambda, and DynamoDB.
• Model and manage complex relationships using Neo4j or other graph databases.
• Contribute to the design and implementation of Retrieval‑Augmented Generation (RAG) architectures.
  
  

Your Profile

• Experience: 4–12 years
• Location- Hyderabad
• Strong hands‑on experience in Python, SQL, and modern data engineering practices.
• Experience working with Snowflake, Apache Airflow, and AWS Step Functions.
• Experience with API development and data integration patterns.
• Hands‑on exposure to graph databases such as Neo4j or similar technologies.
• Understanding of RAG (Retrieval‑Augmented Generation) architectures and AI data pipelines.
  
  

Domain Knowledge

• Experience in Pharmaceutical, Healthcare, or other regulated industries.
• Familiarity with biomedical ontologies and clinical data standards is a strong advantage.
