Senior Data Analyst

We are looking for Data Analyst with hands-on experience in the Banking or Insurance domain to join our growing analytics team. You will play a key role in transforming complex datasets into actionable insights that drive business decisions across risk, operations, and customer experience.

What you'll do

• Design, develop, and maintain data models and pipelines within enterprise data warehousing environments
• Write complex SQL queries to extract, transform, and analyse large-scale financial and operational datasets
• Build and maintain dashboards and reports to monitor KPIs across lending, claims, underwriting, or risk portfolios
• Partner with business stakeholders in banking or insurance to translate requirements into analytical solutions
• Identify data quality issues and work with data engineering teams to resolve them at source
• Support regulatory and compliance reporting with accurate, timely, and audit-ready data
• Contribute to the modernisation of legacy reporting infrastructure using cloud data platforms

What we're looking for

• 5 plus years of experience as a Data Analyst, with at least 3 years in banking or insurance
• Strong proficiency in SQL — complex joins, window functions, CTEs, query optimisation.
• Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts — star/snowflake schema, ETL/ELT pipelines, dimensional modelling
• Experience with DWH platforms such as Snowflake, Amazon Redshift, Azure Synapse, or Teradata
• Familiarity with BI tools — Power BI, Tableau, or Looker
• Working knowledge of domain-specific data — credit risk, policy data, claims, AML, or trade finance
• Ability to communicate data findings clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
