Your Role

Define and own the enterprise API architecture, including reference architectures, integration patterns, and standards aligned to banking, digital, and open banking initiatives.
Lead API design and domain modeling using RESTful principles, microservices patterns, and industry frameworks (e.g., BIAN), ensuring scalability and reusability
Establish and govern API design standards, security models, and non functional requirements (performance, resilience, observability, compliance).
Collaborate with business, product, and delivery teams to translate business capabilities into well defined APIs with clear contracts and documentation
Provide architectural oversight across the API lifecycle, ensuring conformance to standards through design reviews and architecture assurance.
Guide engineering teams on API platform usage, DevSecOps integration, and deployment patterns to ensure consistent and high quality delivery.
Drive API governance, catalogue management, and reuse, improving discoverability, reducing duplication, and lowering technical debt across the bank.

Your Profile

Experience in leading core banking transformation programs
Ability to define BIAN solution for enterprise and have a vision to do big bang, strangled modernization and transformation
Capable of establishing a trusted relationship with the business and be a liaison between business and IT folks
Understand how technology, processes, people and data fit together in delivering business outcomes
Understanding of regulatory framework for retail and corporate mapping
Excellent problem resolution and people management skills
Ability to meet governance forums requirements
