Education Qualification: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field or higher with minimum 3 years of relevant experience.

Your future duties and responsibilities

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior DevOps Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in modern DevOps practices, automation, and CI/CD, with hands-on expertise in GitHub, GitHub Actions, Azure Data Factory (ADF) pipelines, Databricks pipelines, SQL, Maven, and Helm charts. The candidate should be well-versed in Agile methodologies and possess excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions.
• Able to design and develop branching and Versioning strategies
• Knowledge on handling parallel releases
• Administer and optimize GitHub repositories, workflows, and permissions.
• Develop, deploy, and maintain data pipelines using Azure Data Factory and Databricks.
• Create and maintain infrastructure as code using Helm charts for Kubernetes deployments.
• Automate build and release processes using Maven and related tools.
• Collaborate with development, QA, and Data Engineering teams to streamline releases and deployments.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues in CI/CD pipelines, data integration, and infrastructure.
• Write and optimize SQL queries for data validation, transformation, and reporting tasks.
• Contribute to Agile ceremonies, sprint planning, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Document DevOps processes, standards, and best practices.
  
  

Required Qualifications To Be Successful In This Role

Must Have Skills:

Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps (Repos, Pipelines, Boards)

Strong experience in CI/CD pipeline design and implementation

Proficiency in scripting languages (PowerShell, Bash, or Python)

Experience with version control systems like Git

Knowledge of build and release management processes

Experience with Azure cloud services and resource management

Understanding of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) concepts

Experience with ARM templates or Terraform

Good to Have Skills:

Experience with containerization tools like Docker

Knowledge of Kubernetes (AKS preferred)

Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools (Azure Monitor, Log Analytics)

Experience with configuration management tools (Ansible, Chef, Puppet)

Exposure to security practices (DevSecOps, vulnerability scanning)

Experience with automated testing frameworks

Understanding of networking concepts in Azure

Experience in multi-environment deployments (Dev, QA, Prod)
