We are looking for a skilled Mainframe Support Engineer with strong expertise in JCL and COBOL, along with hands-on experience in production support environments.

Qualification: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field or higher with minimum 5 years of relevant experience.

Your future duties and responsibilities

Perform test and validation activities for releases

Provide release support and assistance

Conduct regular application health checks

Manage and resolve production incidents

Work on small development/enhancement requests

Handle patching and maintenance activities

Required Qualifications To Be Successful In This Role

Strong experience in Mainframe technologies (JCL & COBOL) with 5–10 years of experience

Proven problem-solving and analytical skills

Hands-on experience in Incident Management / Production Support

Experience with Dynatrace monitoring tools

Good knowledge of Unix scripting

Strong decision-making skills in production support scenarios

Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal)

Good to Have:

Exposure to Java APIs

Experience working with Tomcat servers
