Job Description:

Responsibilities

Direct Responsibilities

• Deliver AI agents and MVPs for cross-functional business units using the group's established agentic framework
• Contribute reusable components and improvements back to the shared framework — not just consume it
• Participate in pure innovation work: prototype new RAG approaches, test emerging agent patterns, evaluate new tooling
• Build LangChain chains and LangGraph agents from architecture specs — tool-calling, multi-agent, stateful workflows
• Implement RAG pipelines on infrastructure and business datasets: ingestion, chunking, embedding, vector store, retrieval tuning
• Expose agents via LangServe, REST APIs, and internal SI connectors across business domains
  
  

Write and maintain LangSmith evaluation datasets — you own the quality bar on what you ship

Contributing Responsibilities

• Apply guardrails patterns: input/output validation, hallucination mitigation, sensitive data handling
• Instrument pipelines with observability hooks: latency, error rates, tool call traces, prompt logging
• Contribute to qualification of cross-functional datasets: logs, CMDB, monitoring data, business knowledge bases
• Participate in cross-regional ceremonies: Paris ↔ Mumbai architecture reviews, sprint planning, async standups
  
  

Technical & Behavioral Competencies

Technical Skills:

• LangGraph multi-agent or LangServe experience
• Vector DB hands-on (Pinecone, pgvector, Chroma, Weaviate)
• LangSmith or MLflow for experiment tracking
• CI/CD pipeline experience (GitLab CI, ArgoCD, or equivalent)
• Exposure to cross-functional domains: IT ops, compliance, risk, or business lines
  
  

Transversal skills:

• Ship real MVPs AND explore pure innovation — both, not one
• Work within and contribute to a live framework used across a CAC 40-tier banking group
• Cross-functional and cross-regional scope from your first sprint
• Clear path toward Tech Lead as Mumbai scales
  
  

Specific Qualifications:

Skills Referential (Required Knowledge, Skills And Abilities)

Technical Skills:

• 3–5 years in software or ML engineering
• Solid Python — clean, maintainable, production-quality code
• Hands-on experience with LangChain or equivalent LLM orchestration frameworks
• Understanding of RAG fundamentals: embeddings, similarity search, retrieval evaluation
• Familiarity with containerized environments: Docker, Kubernetes basics
• Comfort with classical observability: Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK
  
  

Transversal Skills:

• Experience consuming and integrating REST APIs across heterogeneous systems
• Strong written English — cross-regional async collaboration with Paris is daily

Education Level: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or Equivalent

Experience level: 4-6 +Years production experience as engineer under Agent AI & Devops
