Job Description:

Responsibilities

Direct Responsibilities

• Build full stack Python applications from scratch: FastAPI / Uvicorn backends, async APIs, internal tooling, agent interfaces — end to end, autonomously
• Develop POC applications that give business users and technical teams a real interface to Innovation Lab agents and pipelines
• Lead the industrialization path: take prototype logic (LangChain, LangGraph, RAG) and architect it into maintainable, scalable, production-ready applications
• Use AI-assisted development natively: Cursor, RooCode, and vibe coding workflows are your default — you iterate fast, you generate, review, and ship
• Design and implement the Prod-as-Code layer: infrastructure as code, configuration as code, operational logic as code — version-controlled, tested, deployable
• Build internal developer platforms and tooling that raise the engineering floor for the entire Mumbai team
• Integrate agentic backends (LangChain, LangGraph, LangServe) into production-grade application shells with proper auth, rate limiting, logging, and error handling
  
  

Contributing Responsibilities

• Own API design and documentation — every service you build is consumable by other teams without hand-holding
• Containerize and deploy applications with Docker, Kubernetes — you own the full lifecycle from local dev to production
• Define and enforce application architecture standards for the Lab: project structure, dependency management, testing strategy, CI/CD integration
• Contribute technically to the cross-regional architecture dialogue with Paris — propose, challenge, decide

Technical Skills:

• LangGraph and LangServe for agentic application backends
• Frontend exposure: React, Vue, or Streamlit for internal tool interfaces
• Experience building internal developer platforms or CLI tooling o Observability (Intermediate)
• Observability instrumentation: OpenTelemetry, structured logging, distributed tracing
• GitOps, ArgoCD, or equivalent continuous deployment patterns
• Exposure to banking / regulated industry production constraintso Virtualization (Mastered)

Skills Referential (Required Knowledge, Skills And Abilities)

Technical Skills:

• 5+ years of Python engineering — Opinionated about Python and write code others consider a reference
• Mastery of FastAPI and Uvicorn — async Python backend development is your native environment
• Full stack autonomy: Feature from API design to frontend integration to deployment, without handoffs
• Strong LangChain experience — integrating agentic backends into real application architectures
• Solid understanding of API design principles: REST, async patterns, versioning, auth, rate limiting
• Infrastructure as Code mindset — Terraform, Helm, or equivalent; configuration is never manual
• Git-native: branching strategies, PR discipline, CI/CD integration, you own the full pipeline

• Docker and Kubernetes — Containerize know how on Production environment.
