Android Developer

Role Overview

We are looking for an Android Developer (SDE 2) to build and scale a high-quality driver ticketing and digital bus experience. You will own end-to-end feature delivery, work closely with cross-functional teams, and contribute to building a robust, scalable mobile application.

Key Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end feature development from design to release
• Collaborate with Product, Design, and Backend teams to deliver high-quality features
• Design scalable architecture, APIs, and data flows
• Manage and prioritize bug fixes and feature development
• Ensure high code quality, performance, and stability
• Handle on-ground support issues and resolve them effectively
• Mentor junior developers and contribute to team growth
• Continuously improve app architecture and development practices

Required Skills

Core Android Development

• Strong experience with Kotlin, Coroutines, and reactive programming
• Hands-on experience with Jetpack components (ViewModel, Room, Navigation, WorkManager, etc.)
• Familiarity with Jetpack Compose and modern UI development

Architecture & Design

• Experience with MVVM/Clean Architecture patterns
• Understanding of modular and scalable app design
• Knowledge of dependency injection and state management

Quality & Performance

• Experience with unit and UI testing (JUnit, Espresso, etc.)
• Ability to build performant, stable, and scalable apps
• Debugging and performance optimization skills

Backend & Integration

• Experience with REST APIs and data handling
• Understanding of offline storage and caching mechanisms
