Position Details

Job Title: Senior Software Engineer - Playwright Automation
Location: Hyderabad/Bangalore
Employment Type: Full Time
Experience Level: 6-10 Years

Role Overview

Chubb is seeking a highly skilled and experienced QA Engineer for the development of insurance web application and APIs. This role requires a deep understanding of insurance business and the ability to effectively communicate with both onshore and offshore resources in the development of high-quality software solutions. The Senior Software Engineer will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, deploy web-based applications and APIs that ensure Chubb's compliance with industry regulations.

Qualifications

Roles & Responsibilities:

6 to 10 years of experience in automation and functional testing.
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related STEM field, or equivalent experience.
Proficient in programming languages such as TypeScript/JavaScript, Java
Knowledgeable about testing methodologies and automation tools.
Property & Casualty insurance domain experience secondary skill set.
Advanced proficiency in test case design and execution.
Strong programming skills for test automation.
Extensive knowledge of testing tools including Playwright, Selenium, APIs, SQL
Thorough understanding of CI/CD pipelines and their integration with testing processes.
Experience in applying AI-driven approaches to enhance Quality Engineering practices by accelerating automation development, reducing manual effort, improving test coverage, and supporting smarter test design and maintenance.

Mandatory Skills: Playwright, Manual/Functional testing, AI Tools, P&C background, Mainframe
