Senior/ Principal Engineer (Air Traffic Management Cloud Services)

What The Role Is

The Air Traffic Management (ATM) Cloud Services section resides within the Air Navigation Services (ANS) Engineering Division. This section leads the implementation and maintenance of digital platform for secure collaborations and innovations. It utilizes modern tools, technologies and concepts such as cloud computing, technology stack, data science and AI. The candidate will collaborate with other teams to understand and analyze their challenges and needs and propose solutions as well as apply agile to manage projects on the platform. Hence, a working knowledge of cloud infrastructure/ services/ design and agile are required.

The candidate is also required to perform procurements, budget optimization and manage maintenance including cybersecurity to ensure objectives are met. The candidate may be assigned additional duties as deemed appropriate by the organization.

This role offers opportunities to develop expertise in complex project/ product management, data integration/ management, and DevOps/ CICD whilst advancing your knowledge in ATM, Air Navigation Services (ANS) and Aviation.

What You Will Be Working On

What We Are Looking For

• Trained in Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology and Information Systems or equivalent
• Minimum 3 – 5 years’ experience in the following:
• Planning, designing, implementing, managing and/or maintaining cloud systems/ applications; and
• Certified Cloud Engineer/ Solution Architect such as in AWS or equivalent
• Able to extract and analyze requirements as well as draft specifications
• Able to articulate business needs
• Able to manage vendors and stakeholders to meet objectives
• Able to perform deep analysis of technical fault and recommend viable solutions
• Able to work in a fast pace and dynamic environment
• Able to work independently and as an active team member
