Job Overview:

We are hiring seasoned test engineers with experience in multiple technology domains (Telecommunications/Networking, Security, Artificial Intelligence) to provide technical leadership for our Product Certifications and Vendor Neutral Third-Party Testing test programs.

The ideal candidate will be deeply involved in creating, providing guidance and executing these test programs. Your role will also include mentoring the team, expanding test capabilities, and representing CNLABS at national and international forums.

Demonstrated success in previous roles, strong analytical ability, problem-solving mindset, and effective collaboration across cross-functional teams is required for this role.

Required Qualifications:

 Experience: Minimum 8+ years in the development or testing of networking

products and solutions.

 Core Knowledge: Strong fundamentals in one or more of telecommunications/networking technologies, cybersecurity and AI. Exposure to automotive, medical, and Industrial IoT domains are a strong plus.

 Certifications: Industry certifications are a strong plus

 Desirable: Familiarity with ISO 17025 standards

Key Responsibilities:

 Lead - Product Certifications:

o Lead and manage comprehensive test programs for Networking & Security, including but not limited to switching, routing, VoIP, wireless, Cyber Security, virtualization and microservices.

o Ensure strict adherence to certification requirements from bodies such as TEC, NABL, NIST, and other similar standards bodies.

o Support the team in diagnosing, troubleshooting, and resolving certification and testing issues across product categories.

o Collaborate with product vendors, compliance teams to streamline certification workflows and maintain regulatory readiness.

o Develop and maintain robust test strategies, methodologies, and detailed test cases aligned with evolving industry standards and regulatory requirements.

o Drive and implement test automation frameworks where applicable to improve efficiency, accuracy, and scalability of certification processes

 Compliance & Technical Management:

o Serve as a technical manager ensuring CNLABS meets the quality, compliance, and documentation requirements of NABL, TEC, NIST and other certification and accreditation bodies.

o Maintain accurate documentation of test plans, results, and corrective actions to support audits and regulatory reviews.

o Define and uphold best practices in line with ISO/IEC 17025 standards.

 Industry Engagement:

o Actively participate in national and international technical forums, standardisation committees, and industry working groups to represent organizational expertise in networking technologies and certification

practices.

o Contribute to shaping policies, guidelines, and frameworks that influence the future of network testing, certification, and regulatory compliance.

o Engage with peers and stakeholders across the industry to exchange knowledge, benchmark best practices, and ensure alignment with evolving global standards.

o Collaborate with domain leads to conduct applied research and contribute draft white papers, technical reports, and internal capability documents

 Technical Leadership & Mentorship

o Spearhead initiatives to expand the Lab’s testing scope by exploring emerging networking technologies and products and help define new test programs to support them.

o Design and implement onboarding programs as well as structured skill enhancement tracks to accelerate the development of lab engineers.

o Mentor junior engineers by providing hands-on training in networking technologies, test methodologies, and automation practices, fostering a culture of continuous learning and technical excellence.
