Data Scientist

CodeVyasa is looking for an experienced Data Scientist with strong expertise in forecasting models, PySpark, and applied data science. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience solving large-scale business problems using predictive analytics and machine learning techniques, with a strong foundation in statistical modeling and big data processing.

CodeVyasa is a mid-sized product engineering company that works with top-tier product/solutions companies such as McKinsey, Walmart, RazorPay, Swiggy, and others. We are about 550+ people strong, and we cater to Product & Data Engineering use-cases around Agentic AI, RPA, Full-stack, and various other GenAI areas.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and deploy advanced forecasting models for business planning, demand prediction, revenue estimation, and trend analysis.
• Analyze structured and large-scale datasets to derive actionable business insights.
• Develop scalable machine learning solutions using PySpark and distributed data processing frameworks.
• Perform feature engineering, model training, tuning, validation, and performance monitoring.
• Apply time-series forecasting techniques such as ARIMA, Prophet, XGBoost, LSTM, or other advanced methods.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand forecasting requirements and translate them into analytical solutions.
• Work with cross-functional teams including Data Engineering and BI teams for production deployment.
• Optimize models for scalability, efficiency, and business impact.
• Present findings, recommendations, and model outputs to technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Required Skills

• 5–8 years of experience in Data Science / Machine Learning roles.
• Strong hands-on experience in Forecasting / Time Series Modeling (must-have).
• Hands-on expertise in PySpark.
• Strong knowledge of Python and data science libraries such as Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn.
• Experience with machine learning model development and deployment lifecycle.
• Strong statistical knowledge and problem-solving skills.
• Experience working with large datasets in cloud or distributed environments.
• Good communication and stakeholder management skills.
