Senior Devops Engineer

Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and hands-on Devops Engineer to designing, building, and maintaining scalable, secure, and resilient platform infrastructure across cloud and on-prem environments. This role requires deep expertise in DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code, observability, and modern cloud-native technologies.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and mentor a team of platform engineers, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
Architect and implement CI/CD pipelines for both non-prod and prod environments using Azure DevOps and Git.
Manage hybrid infrastructure (cloud and on-prem) with a focus on automation, scalability, and reliability.
Design and maintain microservices frameworks and container orchestration using Kubernetes.
Develop and maintain infrastructure as code using Terraform and Ansible.
Implement monitoring and observability solutions using AppDynamics, Azure Application Insights, Splunk, and Datadog.
Manage and track work using JIRA and ServiceNow.
Maintain and optimize application servers such as IBM WebSphere Application Server (WAS) and IBM HTTP Server.
Write and maintain scripts in Shell and Python for automation and operational tasks.

Required Skills & Experience

8+ years of experience in platform engineering, DevOps, or infrastructure roles.
Proven leadership experience managing and mentoring engineering teams.
Strong hands-on experience with Azure, Kubernetes, Terraform, Ansible, and CI/CD tools.
Deep understanding of cloud-native architecture and hybrid infrastructure.
Proficiency in scripting languages (Shell, Python).
Experience with observability tools: AppDynamics, App Insights, Splunk, Datadog.
Familiarity with AIX and Linux systems, including performance analysis and troubleshooting.
Experience with ticketing systems like JIRA and ServiceNow.
Strong understanding of application server workflows (WAS, IBM HTTP Server).
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
