Software Developer

Responsibilities:

• Develop, customize, and enhance Avaloq Core Banking functionalities by having close collaboration with stakeholders to ensure fit-for-purpose end-to-end functionality.
• Develop and maintain data mappings, interfaces, and integration logic with upstream/downstream systems.
• Support interface design and integration with upstream/downstream systems (CRM, Treasury, Risk, Reporting, etc)
• Translate business requirements into effective and scalable technical solutions.
• Prepare test scenarios, test cases, and support SIT/UAT cycles.
• Validate end-to-end functionality, ensuring compliance with regulatory and operational standards.
• Support production deployments, release management, and post-go-live issue resolution.
• Proactively identify areas for improvement in system performance, stability, and usability.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues, ensuring long-term and sustainable fixes.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science,Information Systems, Engineering, or related field
• 3 to 7 years hands-on experience in Avaloq development and parameterisation, with a focus on topics around interfaces with Avaloq (online banking and online investment applications).
• Strong understanding of the Avaloq Object Model (AOM), PL/SQL, and Avaloq frameworks.
• Experience with SQL, data analysis, and interface workflows.
• Strong analytical, documentation, and communication skills
• Proven ability to work independently and deliver results under minimal guidance.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think beyond the immediate task.
• Proactive mindset comfortable suggesting improvements and driving change.
• Experience in Agile delivery models is preferred.

PreferredQualifications:

• Avaloq Certified Professional (ACP) orspecialization certification.
• Experience with regulatory initiatives (MAS, FATCA, CRS, AML/KYC).
• Exposure to API-based integrations, microservices, or cloud-based architectures.
