The team sits within Retail Banking Services (RBS), the public face of CommBank, supporting more than 10 million personal and small business customers.
This role is part of the Home Buying domain’s Channel Engagement & Specialty Product Crew, embedded within the White Label and Residential Mortgage Group (RMG) Value Stream.
Do work that matters
Within the Channel Engagement & Specialty Product Crew, the RMG / White Label Product Manager is accountable for the ongoing health, performance and risk profile of the product. You will operate as a core member of the squad, alongside Product Owners and delivery partners.
The role connects strategy to execution, leading prioritisation, planning and change delivery, while embedding customer, commercial and regulatory considerations into everyday decision‑making.
Using data‑driven insights, you will actively manage product performance, identify and mitigate risk, and deliver strategic, remediation and enhancement initiatives. Through strong stakeholder engagement and disciplined change practices, you help ensure products and value‑chain outcomes remain effective, compliant and aligned to evolving customer and business needs.
In this role, you will:
- Own product performance and health, balancing customer outcomes, commercial performance and regulatory obligations
- Lead the delivery of strategic initiatives, risk buy‑down and enhancements, ensuring outcomes are realised through clear governance and measurable impact
- Partner across product, operations, risk, technology and distribution to align outcomes, clarify accountabilities and manage dependencies
- Ensure products and value‑chain outcomes support safe, compliant and customer‑centric delivery aligned to risk appetite
More specifically, you will:
- Establish and manage product performance monitoring across commercial, customer, risk and regulatory measures
- Maintain a prioritised plan of work spanning strategy, risk remediation and continuous improvement
- Lead partner‑led change assessments, including impact analysis, decisioning and delivery coordination
- Drive cross‑functional delivery across people, process, technology, governance and risk
- Identify and manage product risks, ensuring mitigations are implemented and tracked
- Support Product Design and Distribution obligations, including stewardship of relevant artefacts and controls
- Produce clear, structured communications and governance materials to support timely decisions and transparency
- Work with partners to ensure the end‑to‑end value chain continues to meet customer and business needs
We’re looking for people who bring:
- Product Management experience within financial services, or equivalent experience owning product performance and leading change
- Experience operating in regulated environments, with a strong risk and compliance mindset
- Strong stakeholder and relationship management capability in matrixed environments
- Demonstrated experience in structured planning, change delivery, governance and benefits realisation
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, using data to prioritise and measure outcomes
- Clear, concise written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to articulate trade‑offs and risk
- The ability to operate at pace while maintaining discipline and safe execution
