Data Warehouse Engineer

The Data Warehouse Developer is responsible for designing, building, and maintaining the company’s data warehouse and data integration processes. The role focuses on developing data models, creating ETL pipelines, and ensuring high-quality, reliable data to support reporting, analytics, and business decision-making. The role will support both existing SAS-based environments and future Microsoft/Azure data platforms, across on-premise and cloud systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop data warehouse models and structures based on business requirements
• Design, build, and maintain ETL/ELT processes (Extract, Transform, Load) from multiple source systems
• Identify, analyze, and document data sources, data flows, and business requirements
• Develop and optimize data integration between SAS platforms and Microsoft data platforms (e.g., Azure, Microsoft Fabric, SQL Server)
• Support the modernization of data and analytics systems (on-prem to cloud, legacy to modern platforms)
• Ensure data quality, consistency, and basic master data management controls
• Work closely with business users, analysts, and IT teams to support reporting and analytics needs
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting related to data warehouse and ETL processes
• Prepare and present technical documentation and design explanations clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders

Qualifications & Experience

• At least 2 years of relevant experience in data warehousing, ETL development, or data integration
• For Senior level: at least 3–5 years of relevant experience in data warehouse and ETL development
• Strong understanding of: Data warehouse concepts and data modeling, ETL processes and data pipelines, Relational databases and SQL
• Ability to explain technical concepts clearly to small and large groups
• Analytical, detail-oriented, flexible, and able to work with changing requirements
• Good interpersonal and communication skills
• Willing to work onsite five (5) days a week in Malate, Manila
• Amenable to a project-based employment arrangement

Tools & Technologies (Preferred / Advantage)

• SAS Platform / SAS Products (current environment and data sources)
• Microsoft ecosystem (any of the following):
• Microsoft Azure
• Microsoft Fabric
• SQL Server / MS SQL
• Azure Data Factory / Synapse / related ETL tools
• Experience working in both on-premise and cloud environments
• Experience integrating SAS systems with Microsoft platforms is a strong advantage
