Key Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain automated test scripts for web and desktop applications using Selenium/Playwright with Java.
Design, build, and enhance test automation frameworks for scalability and maintainability.
Identify, analyze, and report defects, collaborating with development teams to ensure high-quality software releases.
Implement and execute functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end automation tests.
Utilize Appium for mobile application automation (if required) and integrate with existing automation frameworks.
Develop and execute API testing scripts using REST Assured or similar tools.
Optimize and refactor existing automation scripts for improved efficiency and reliability.
Collaborate with development, DevOps, and product teams to integrate automated testing in CI/CD pipelines.
Ensure cross-browser and cross-platform testing to validate application compatibility.
Analyze test results, generate reports, and provide insights for continuous improvement.
Stay updated with the latest automation trends, tools, and best practices.

Qualifications:

4+ years of experience in automation testing with Selenium or Playwright using Java.
Strong expertise in Playwright and/or Selenium WebDriver for UI automation.
Experience in Appium for mobile test automation (Android/iOS) is highly preferred.
Proficiency in Java and Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles.
Experience with test automation frameworks such as TestNG, JUnit, or Cucumber.
Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines and tools like Jenkins, Git, or Azure DevOps.
Experience with API testing using REST Assured, Postman, or similar tools.
Good knowledge of database validation using SQL.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot automation failures.
Familiarity with cloud-based testing platforms like Browser Stack or Sauce Labs is a plus.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
