About the Role

We are looking for a DevOps / Site Reliability Engineer who enjoys building reliable, scalable infrastructure and solving complex production challenges. You will play a key role in managing large-scale Kubernetes environments, designing resilient CI/CD pipelines, and ensuring high system reliability.

This role requires strong hands-on experience with modern container platforms, observability, automation, and production infrastructure.

What You’ll Do

• Manage and operate multiple production-grade Kubernetes clusters with high availability and reliability.
• Design and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins or Bitbucket Pipelines.
• Build and maintain containerized infrastructure using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Implement infrastructure automation and configuration management using Ansible.
• Design and implement monitoring, observability, and alerting systems using Prometheus and Grafana.
• Define and maintain SLA, SLO, and uptime objectives, ensuring system reliability.
• Build and maintain autoscaling mechanisms, including Kafka-based scaling and custom autoscalers.
• Optimize Linux systems and OS-level configurations for high-performance workloads, especially database systems.
• Work closely with the security team to implement infrastructure security best practices.
• Continuously improve deployment pipelines and infrastructure to ensure fast, reliable, and secure releases.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex production issues across distributed systems

Required Skills

• 3–5 years of experience in DevOps, SRE, or Infrastructure Engineering roles,
• Strong hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes in production environments.
• Experience with CI/CD systems such as Jenkins or Bitbucket Pipelines.
• Experience with configuration management tools like Ansible.
• Experience implementing monitoring and alerting using Prometheus and Grafana.
• Strong Linux fundamentals and system troubleshooting skills.
• Proficiency in Bash scripting or Python for automation.
• Experience working with cloud environments (AWS, GCP, or Oracle Cloud).

Good to Have

• Experience managing PostgreSQL, Redis, or nosql in production.
• Experience working with event-driven architectures and Kafka-based systems.
• Experience building custom autoscaling or workload scheduling mechanisms.
• Familiarity with high-scale distributed systems and performance optimization.
