Creospan is hiring for Senior SDET / QA Automation Engineers for one of our leading Banking & Financial Services projects based in Pune / Bangalore, India.

Experience: 6–10 Years

Location: Pune / Bangalore (Hybrid)

About the Role:

We are looking for strong SDET / QA Automation Engineers with hands-on experience in Java-based automation frameworks, API testing, and database validation. The role involves working on enterprise financial platforms, focusing on automation across microservices, APIs, and backend systems.

We are specifically looking for candidates who can write clean code, design automation frameworks, and clearly articulate their approach and real-time project experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain automation frameworks using Java (Selenium / Playwright).

• Perform API automation testing using Rest Assured and validate request/response flows.

• Execute database testing using SQL for backend data validation.

• Work on microservices-based architecture and end-to-end automation scenarios.

• Integrate automation suites with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins / GitHub Actions).

• Participate in requirement analysis and convert business requirements into test scenarios.

• Perform root cause analysis and troubleshoot automation failures.

• Collaborate with developers, BAs, and product teams in Agile environment.

• Contribute to automation strategy, framework improvements, and test coverage enhancement.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.

• 6–10 years of experience in QA Automation / SDET roles.

• Strong hands-on experience in Java coding (framework-level work, not just test execution).

• Experience with Selenium or Playwright automation frameworks.

• Hands-on experience in API testing using Rest Assured.

• Strong knowledge of SQL and database testing.

• Experience working with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins and version control (Git).

• Understanding of BDD frameworks (Cucumber) and step definition concepts.

• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environment.

• Strong analytical thinking, debugging, and problem-solving skills.

• Good communication skills with ability to explain approach and solutions clearly.

Preferred Background:

• Experience in Investment Banking / Capital Markets domain.

• Exposure to Trade Settlement / Custody / Asset Servicing (good to have, not mandatory).

• Experience working on financial transaction or payment systems.

• Experience with microservices and distributed systems testing.
