Senior Frontend Developer

Role Overview:

We’re hiring a Senior Frontend Engineer with 5+ years of experience to build high-performance, scalable, and visually refined web applications. This is a hands-on engineering role focused on architecture, performance, and crafting exceptional user experiences across modern browsers and devices.

You’ll work closely with design, product, and backend teams to build robust frontend systems, define engineering standards, and ship production-grade features that scale.

What You’ll Build

Frontend Architecture & Development

1. Build scalable, modular frontend applications using modern JavaScript frameworks
2. Architect component-driven UI systems and reusable design libraries
3. Implement robust state management and data flow patterns
4. Develop responsive, cross-browser experiences with high usability
5. Collaborate with backend teams to design API contracts and integrations

Performance & Optimization

1. Optimize applications for speed, scalability, and accessibility
2. Improve Core Web Vitals and page load performance
3. Implement code-splitting, lazy loading, caching, and asset optimization
4. Diagnose and resolve performance bottlenecks in production environments
5. Ensure smooth user experiences across low-end to high-end devices

UI Engineering & Design Systems

1. Build and maintain scalable design systems and component libraries
2. Translate Figma/design specs into pixel-perfect interfaces
3. Implement accessibility standards (WCAG) and responsive layouts
4. Maintain visual consistency across products and platforms

Frontend Platform & Tooling

1. Improve build systems, CI/CD pipelines, and developer tooling
2. Implement testing strategies: unit, integration, and E2E
3. Establish coding standards, linting, and documentation practices
4. Support deployment workflows and release management

Collaboration & Leadership

1. Mentor junior engineers and conduct technical reviews
2. Work with product and UX teams to shape user-facing features
3. Contribute to technical decision-making and roadmap planning
4. Advocate for performance, maintainability, and user-centric design

Frontend

1. JavaScript / TypeScript
2. React, Next.js (or similar modern frameworks)

4. State management: Redux, Zustand, or similar

Tooling & Platforms

1. Webpack, Vite, Rollup

3. Jest, Cypress, Playwright

Performance & Quality

1. Chrome DevTools & performance profiling
2. Accessibility tools & audits
3. CI/CD pipelines and monitoring tools

Must-Haves

1. 5+ years of experience in frontend engineering
2. Strong expertise in JavaScript/TypeScript and modern frameworks
3. Experience building scalable frontend architecture from scratch
4. Deep understanding of browser rendering, performance, and optimization
5. Strong grasp of responsive design and accessibility best practices
6. Experience integrating APIs and working with backend teams
7. Ability to write clean, maintainable, and production-ready code

Highly Desirable

1. Experience building design systems or UI platforms
2. Familiarity with SSR/SSG and performance-driven architectures
3. Experience with micro-frontends or large-scale frontend systems
4. Exposure to cloud deployment workflows and frontend observability
5. Product-focused mindset with strong UX understanding
