Role Overview

You will design and build a scalable internal data platform. You will work closely with various teams to ensure the platform supports business and data needs end-to-end.

Key Responsibilities

Build and maintain an internal data platform using Python. - Develop integrations with external APIs and data sources.
Design and run ETL/ELT pipelines for data ingestion and transformation.
Define platform architecture, infrastructure, and DevOps workflows.
Work with cross functional teams to understand data requirements.
Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting for platform stability.
Ensure best practices in data engineering, security, and governance.

Requirements

5–10 years of experience in data engineering, backend development, or platform engineering.
Strong proficiency in Python.
Experience working with AWS, GCP, or Azure.
Knowledge of infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform / CloudFormation).
Understanding of system architecture, microservices, and API design.
Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines.
Good problem solving and communication skills in English. Nice to Have
Experience with Go, Java, or Scala.
Familiarity with Snowflake, BigQuery, or Redshift. Understanding of data governance and compliance.
Experience working across multiple markets.

Note:

This is a part-time / freelance position.
Salary will be negotiated based on experience and scope of work.
