Data Chapter - Risk & Business Analytics plays a crucial role in leveraging advanced data and AI capabilities to enhance risk management functions and drive business innovation. We are responsible for developing and implementing AI solutions that enhance risk solutioning by providing actionable insights, improving decision-making, and boosting operational efficiency. We Collaborate closely with various teams to deliver accurate, timely, and transformative AI-driven solutions.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the design, development, and testing of credit risk or/ and operational risk models, rules, and algorithms to support the Bank's risk assessment capabilities.
- Support the full model lifecycle activities, including development, deployment and performance monitoring.
- Contribute to the automation and process improvements in the end-to-end model lifecycle, ensuring efficiency and scalability.
- Collaborate with other data scientists and cross-functional teams (including risk, business units, and technology) to gather, analyze, and interpret datasets for model development.
- Utilize advanced statistical analysis and machine learning techniques to extract actionable insights from diverse data sources.
- Ensure adherence to internal risk management policies and regulatory requirements.
- Learn and apply the latest advancements in risk modeling, machine learning, and quantitative techniques.
- Translate business challenges into actionable analytics requirements and solutions.
- Participate in building and maintaining effective working relationships with stakeholders, communicate analytical insights clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences, fostering understanding and adoption.
- Collaboration between business, technology, and data teams to integrate advanced analytics into decision-making processes.
Requirements
- A Bachelor's or Master's degree in a quantitative field such as Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, or a related discipline.
- Good to have at least 3 years of working experience in a data science or analytics role, with demonstrable experience in credit or/ and operational risk modelling.
- Basic understanding of risk concepts and financial products is a plus.
- Familiarity with programming languages such as Python, Pyspark and relevant data science libraries.
- Foundational knowledge of statistical analysis and machine learning techniques.
- Proven ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Good written and verbal communication skills, with a willingness to learn how to convey technical concepts to diverse audiences.
- Demonstrated eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies and methodologies.
