Job Purpose: The Product Manager for Cash Deposit & Liability Product will be responsible for the strategic development, management, and growth of our corporate cash deposits and liabilities product suite in Singapore. This role will also be required to work on core banking system, representing GTS as the Corporate Deposit product owner to drive requirements, testing and ensure deliverables.
Key Responsibilities:
- Product Strategy & Management (Cash Deposit & Liability Products):
- Develop and execute a comprehensive product strategy for corporate cash deposit accounts (CASA) and fixed deposit (FD) products, aligning with GTS business objectives and market trends.
- Manage the end-to-end product lifecycle, including ideation, development, launch, pricing, and ongoing optimization of cash deposit and liability offerings.
- Monitor market competition, regulatory changes, and customer need to identify new opportunities and ensure product competitiveness and compliance.
- Collaborate with sales, relationship managers (RMs), and other internal stakeholders to understand client requirements and drive product adoption and revenue growth.
- Ensure robust product documentation, policies, and processes are in place.
- Core Banking System - GTS Corporate Deposit product owner:
- Represent GTS business requirements and priorities for core banking system to ensure that the platform supports and enhances corporate deposit functionalities.
- Work closely with Technology & Operations (T&O), Group Finance, and other business units to define scope, requirements, and deliverables for core banking.
- Drive the successful implementation of GTS corporate deposit products on core banking platform, minimizing disruption and ensuring seamless transition for clients.
- Participate in user acceptance testing (UAT) and provide subject matter expertise to validate system functionality and data integrity.
- Manage change impacts for GTS and its clients resulting from system changes, ensuring effective communication and training.
- Business Development & Collaboration:
- Partner with RMs and sales teams to identify and pursue opportunities for deposit growth and cross-selling GTS products.
- Provide product expertise and support during client engagements and solutioning sessions.
- Contribute to the overall GTS strategy, particularly in areas related to liquidity management and optimizing cash balances.
- Risk & Controls:
- Ensure all deposit and liability products adhere to internal policies, regulatory requirements, and risk management frameworks.
- Implement and monitor effective controls to mitigate operational and financial risks associated with product offerings.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in product management, operations, or a general banking background, with a focus on cash management, deposits, or liability products.
- Strong understanding of corporate cash management needs and solutions.
- Proven experience in large-scale transformation projects is highly desirable.
- Solid knowledge of current account and fixed deposit product features, pricing, and operational processes.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities.
- Familiarity with Singapore's financial regulatory landscape.
