ABOUT DELHIVERY

Delhivery is India's largest fully integrated logistics platform, serving over 18,500 pin codes across the country. We move millions of shipments daily for thousands of D2C brands, enterprises, and marketplaces — powered by a proprietary network, data infrastructure, and a relentless focus on building logistics that runs itself.

THE ROLE

At Delhivery, the marketplace platform is the engine that decides how demand and supply connect — which shipment goes to which facility, at what price, and through what route. This is not a consumer-facing product role; it is a platform role at the heart of how our network operates.

As PM for Marketplace, you will own the matching and dynamic pricing systems that govern real-time allocation decisions across millions of daily shipments. You will ramp up on Delhivery's internal systems and network logic before taking full ownership — and work at the intersection of product, data science, and backend engineering to define and ship systems that directly impact network efficiency, revenue yield, and customer experience.

AREAS YOU WILL DELIVER IMPACT

Matching & Routing

Define the product logic and objectives for shipment-to-facility matching algorithms. Drive improvements in allocation accuracy, fill rates, and network utilisation. Partner closely with ML and backend engineering to iterate on model inputs, constraints, and evaluation frameworks.

Pricing & Yield

Lead the overhaul of the pricing engine — from rule-based rate cards to a dynamic, context-aware system that reflects real-time demand, lane congestion, and capacity availability. Define pricing signals, guardrails, and business rules in collaboration with commercial and data science teams.

Platform Intelligence

Instrument and improve the feedback loops that make the marketplace smarter over time — defining success metrics, monitoring dashboards, experimentation frameworks, and model refresh cadences.

EXPERIENCE

• 2+ years in product management
• Prior experience in marketplace, platform, or logistics products
• Demonstrated ownership of a data-intensive or algorithmically-driven product
• Background from companies with two-sided platform or supply-demand dynamics
• Exposure to AI-led prototype building

TECHNICAL DEPTH

• Fluent in SQL; comfortable working with large, complex datasets independently
• Conceptual familiarity with ML — feature engineering, model objectives, and evaluation trade-offs
• Comfortable engaging with backend and platform engineering on system design and API behaviour
• Experience designing or interpreting A/B experiments; simulation exposure a plus

WHAT WE ARE NOT LOOKING FOR

This role is not suited for PMs whose experience has been primarily in consumer-facing features, SaaS workflows, or B2B configuration products without exposure to platform mechanics, algorithmic systems, or supply-demand dynamics. Data fluency is non-negotiable — candidates who are uncomfortable working directly with data or reasoning about system behaviour will struggle in this environment.

WORKING STYLE & CULTURE

You will closely work with data science and backend engineering teams. Decisions will be hypothesis-driven and metric-anchored. There is a meaningful learning curve in understanding Delhivery's network — and we expect you to invest in it. Once ramped, you are expected to own the problem space end-to-end, from first-principles problem framing through to post-launch iteration.
