Job Description
The ServiceNow Analyst Programmer is responsible for delivering high-quality development, configuration, and maintenance services within the ServiceNow platform, in accordance with the Group’s Software Development Life Cycle standards. The role performs mid-to-high complexity work such as building and enhancing digital workflows, implementing unified employee-journey solutions, and developing new modules or capabilities that improve employee engagement and operational efficiency.
Responsibilities
• Develop, test, maintain, and troubleshoot ServiceNow applications and modules in alignment with the Group’s Software Development Life Cycle standards.
• Implement workflows, business rules, UI policies, client scripts, and other configurations to enhance platform functionality.
• Integrate ServiceNow with other enterprise systems to support a unified employee experience across HR, IT, and business services.
• Maintain and enhance existing ServiceNow applications, ensuring performance, scalability, and security.
• Ensure that delivered programs operate according to functional and technical specifications, with minimal defects.
• Verify conformance to coding standards and perform reviews prior to SIT or UAT.
• Support testing, debugging, and troubleshooting activities throughout the development lifecycle.
• Prepare, schedule, and deploy software changes across development, test, and production environments.
• Install and maintain development tools and related software required for production, test, and disaster recovery environments.
• Provide 3rd-level production support to investigate and resolve issues in accordance with service level agreements.
• Support Business Systems Analysts during SIT and UAT activities, including defect resolution and clarification of technical behaviors.
• Liaise with Business Systems Analysts, Business Process Designers, and Project Managers for software change requests, issues, and enhancements.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand processes and identify opportunities for workflow automation and improved user experience.
• Participate in regular and ad-hoc client or stakeholder meetings and keep supervisors informed of project progress and issues.
• Participate in agile/scrum ceremonies and work closely with business analysts, architects, and project managers to deliver high-quality solutions.
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation and user guides for implemented solutions.
Do you have experience as a ServiceNow Analyst Programmer?
Required Experience
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology or equivalent.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in ServiceNow development, configuration, and customization.
• Deep understanding and knowledge in Systems Analysis and Design.
• Proficient in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and ServiceNow APIs.
• Strong understanding of ServiceNow modules such as HRSD, ITSM, and Employee Center.
• Experience in designing solutions that unify and streamline employee services across multiple departments is a plus.
• Familiarity with integration tools and techniques (REST/SOAP, MID Server, IntegrationHub).
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) certification is a plus; additional ServiceNow certifications are a plus.
• Experience in backend development C#, .Net, SQL, CloudRun are a plus
• Able to work independently and thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
• Effective communication, skills and being able to present technical concepts concisely.
