About the Role

We are looking for a skilled Azure Engineer to design, implement, and manage the deployment infrastructure for a modern B2B eCommerce platform. The system is built using a microservices-oriented architecture with containerized services, API layer, background jobs, and CDN-backed static assets.

You will play a key role in setting up scalable, secure, and high-performance cloud infrastructure on Microsoft Azure.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement end-to-end Azure infrastructure for a containerized application stack
• Deploy and manage Docker-based services including:
• API layer (Node/Bun-based services)
• Background jobs (cron-based sync services)
• Configure and manage:
• Azure App Services / Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) or Container Apps
• Azure Blob Storage for static assets (product images, imports/exports)
• Azure CDN for performance optimization
• Set up secure authentication mechanisms (cookie/session-based auth, API security)
• Implement CI/CD pipelines using:
• Azure DevOps / GitHub Actions
• Manage PostgreSQL database deployments (with ORM integrations like Prisma)
• Integrate and optimize search engine services (Typesense or similar)
• Configure monitoring, logging, and alerting (Azure Monitor, Application Insights)
• Ensure high availability, scalability, and disaster recovery
• Optimize infrastructure cost and performance
• Work closely with frontend and backend teams for smooth deployment

Techstack:

• Frontend: Next.js applications (Dealer & Admin portals)
• Backend: Node.js / Bun API services (REST + OpenAPI)
• Database: PostgreSQL
• Search Engine: Typesense
• Storage/CDN: Azure Blob Storage + Azure CDN
• Background Jobs: Cron-based services (data sync with SharePoint, etc.)
• Notifications: SMTP (Nodemailer)
• External Integrations: Microsoft SharePoint

Required Skills

• Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure
• Experience with:

Docker & container orchestration (AKS preferred)

CI/CD pipeline setup

Networking (VNet, Load Balancers, API Gateway)

• Good understanding of:

Authentication & security best practices

Scalable system design

• Experience with PostgreSQL and managed database services
• Familiarity with CDN, caching, and performance optimization
• Experience in handling production deployments
