The role of a Software Engineer is a combination of project delivery and support. Software Engineers are an important part of an agile team, they need to understand and implement the requirements by business. As part of a DevOps Team, they solve incidents based on tickets, take care of a proper monitoring of the system and implement CR’s after the Go Live of a product. On top of it they bring improvement ideas in the discussions to increase quality and develop the product further.Last but not least, security technologies associated with Firewalls, Load Balancers, VPNs, Proxies, Azure and Google Cloud are all in your support league.

As a AI Engineer, having Python experience, Prompt Engineering and Generative AI models, use cases knowledge is a huge plus. Very good knowledge of Software Development Methodologies and DevSecOps process and tools will also be an integral part of this role.

You are a GenAI aficionado, therefore you have a good understanding of version control systems (e.g., Git) and project management tools, analytical and soft skills. You are able to work independently prioritize and organize your tasks under time and workload pressure. Working in a multinational environment, you can expect cross-region collaboration with teams around the globe, thus being advanced in spoken and written English will be certainly useful.

AI & Agentic AI Tools & Platforms:

Experience or familiarity with modern AI and workflow automation tools is highly valued. We work with a broad ecosystem of platforms to build, orchestrate, and deploy intelligent solutions:

• Workflow & Agentic Automation: n8n, Google ADK, LangGraph, AutoGen, CrewAI, LangChain — for building multi-step agentic pipelines and orchestrating AI-driven workflows.
• LLM & Gen AI Platforms: OpenAI (GPT-4/o-series), Azure OpenAI Service, Anthropic Claude, Google Gemini, Meta Llama — including API integration, fine-tuning, and prompt engineering.
• Vector Databases & RAG: Pinecone, Weaviate, Chroma, pgvector — for building Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) solutions and semantic search applications.
• MLOps & Model Serving: MLflow, Hugging Face Hub, BentoML, FastAPI — for model lifecycle management, deployment, and serving AI capabilities in production.

Hi, my name is Simon Liu and I’m a team manager. I started my career at DHL IT Services back in 2020, when I took a role as Senior Architect in the GO2 team. Gaining more hands-on experience with new technology has always fascinated me, so I moved to the GCDB team. From there, I moved fast through the company ladder and soon landed a Pricinple Architect role. In 2026, I moved to a management role, being GCDB TM.
