Job summary

We’re building DigiCert’s next-generation AI Security & Trust Infrastructure — a cloud-native platform that extends digital trust to AI models, agents, and software ecosystems.

What you will do

You’ll build the core APIs and microservices that power DigiCert’s AI Security & Trust Infrastructure — distributed systems that handle trust signals, identity validation, and real-time event processing.

Design and develop event-driven microservices and API-driven workflows.
Implement scalable, observable, and secure backend services.
Contribute to data modeling, caching, and performance optimization.
Integrate distributed components with identity and trust layers.
Partner with infrastructure and security engineers to ensure deployability and resilience.
Use modern AI-assisted development workflows to maintain velocity and clarity.
Participate in design reviews, code reviews, and incident postmortems.

What you will have

Proficiency in Java or a similar programming language (Python is a plus).
Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field OR equivalent work experience.
4+ years of experience developing enterprise software and services.
1+ year of experience with Unix/Linux systems.
2+ years of experience with relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle) or NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB, Cassandra).
Experience working on scalable systems or developing RESTful APIs.
Familiarity with micro services architecture and cloud environments.
Basic understanding of database optimization, indexing, and query tuning.
Basic knowledge of performance monitoring and scalability principles
