Job Summary

Diversified is seeking an experienced Software Developer to join our team building revolutionary applications for the AV, Broadcast, and Media industry. In this role, you’ll design, build, and maintain high-quality software applications while collaborating with cross-functional teams. This is an excellent opportunity for someone passionate about problem‑solving, clean code, and continuous improvement.

Primary Responsibilities Of The Software Developer

• Design, develop, test, and document software applications using modern development practices.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, QA, and other developers to deliver features end‑to‑end.
• Maintain and improve existing applications, ensuring performance, reliability, and scalability.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to team best practices and standards.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve technical issues across the software stack.
• Write and maintain technical documentation.
• Stay current with emerging technologies and recommend improvements where appropriate.
  
  

Required Qualifications Of The Software Developer

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• Proficiency with one or more of the following tech-stacks (TypeScript, Node.js, Next.js, C#, React, Angular).
• Solid understanding of using and building REST APIs, including best practices, design, and security.
• Strong problem‑solving and debugging skills (step-debugging, analysis, and troubleshooting).
• Experience writing and using automated tests (unit, integration, and E2E), linting, and code coverage.
• Experience with Git, branching, merging, and peer review.
  
  

Preferred Qualifications Of The Software Developer

• Experience with ITSM, FSM, WMS, or ERP system(s) - e.g. ConnectWise, ServiceNow, D365
• Experience with asset management and monitoring
• Experience with large, complex, and transient data systems
• Knowledge of audio-visual, digital signage, and IoT equipment (e.g. Screens, Players, Power Relays, Edge Collectors, Routers, etc.)
• Experience required 3 - 7 years
