About The Team
The Technology team powers everything the business does. The team is building a reliable, scalable platform for the company's products and services. The team includes Backend, Frontend, Mobile, AI, and QA engineers working across regions, alongside Platform, Security & IT Operations teams. Together, they collaborate closely with Data and Product teams to continuously evolve and scale the products.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain test strategies, test cases, checklists, and test suites based on product requirements and test plans.
- Work closely with development teams, project manager, and other QA teammates to understand requirements, clarify acceptance criteria, and ensure quality throughout the SDLC
- Create test plans, execute test cases, documents and track all issues in a well-timed and thorough manner.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure product quality throughout the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC)
- Analyze test results, summarize findings, and provide actionable insights to stakeholders.
- Implement ad-hoc testing, as well as find and specify bugs across mobile & web.
- Design testing strategies in collaboration with the development team and other
- QA teammates.
- Be responsible for designing automation testing framework and improve end-to-end automated test coverage.
- Ability to oversee QA/QC groups participating in agile projects.
- Contribute to the development and refinement of QA standards, processes, and workflows, and provide input into test strategies.
- Ensure that the product is of high quality on both mobile and web platforms.
Requirements
- Diploma/ Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Information Systems preferred.
- Strong analytical skills, a deep understanding of QA methodologies, meticulous attention to detail, and the ability to identify and track defects through resolution.
- 5+ years of relevant experience in software testing (leadership experience is a plus).
- Familiarity with cross-browser and responsive UI testing.
- Skilled in API testing (SOAP/ RESTful) and root cause analysis.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Detail-oriented and a passion for bug-free code and product experiences.
- A start-up attitude - you take full ownership of things that you do, willing to go out of your comfort zones and take on new challenges.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and adapt to changing project requirements.
- Deep understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and QA methodologies.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a critical, detail-oriented mindset.
- Comfortable with ambiguity and flexible to learn new things - we’re not done growing, and heading into uncharted territories is part of the fun!
- English communication skills will be required to work with regional technology teams and stakeholders.
- While a senior manual role, some experience or familiarity with automation testing concepts and tools is often a plus.
