Data Science & Machine Learning

• Lead end-to-end data science projects from design to production.

• Develop machine learning and statistical models for anomaly detection, trading behaviour

classification, risk prediction, and portfolio analytics.

• Perform feature engineering on tick-level trading data and large-scale time-series datasets.

• Conduct model evaluation, backtesting, performance optimization, and documentation.

Database & Data Engineering

• Work extensively with MySQL, OceanBase, and other low-latency databases to process tick-level

and high-frequency datasets.

• Optimize SQL queries and indexing strategies for ultra-fast execution.

• Design and maintain high-performance ETL/ELT pipelines for structured and unstructured data.

Real-Time Processing & Automation

• Build and manage real-time analytics pipelines using Kafka (producers, consumers, streaming).• Develop automated workflows and batch pipelines using Airflow or similar task schedulers.

• Implement monitoring systems for data quality, latency, and pipeline health.

Application & Dashboard Development

• Build internal analytics applications and dashboards using:

- Django (backend APIs, services)

- Streamlit (interactive analytics dashboards)

- Custom widgets and data visualization tools

• Work closely with risk, quant, and trading teams to translate business needs into scalable

technical solutions.

What we’re looking for:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, or a

related field.

• 3–5 years of hands-on data science project experience (production-ready).

• Expertise in Python (Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn, PyTorch/TensorFlow is a plus).

• Strong experience with MySQL, OceanBase, and low-latency database environments.

• Proven experience building ETL pipelines and optimizing complex SQL queries.

• Familiarity with tick-level market data, market microstructure, and time-series analysis.

• Experience with:

- Kafka for real-time data streaming

- Airflow for workflow automation

- Django / Streamlit for web & dashboard development

• Strong analytical thinking with a problem-solving mindset.

• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced trading environment.

• Good command of Mandarin; English is a plus.
