Job Description

As a DevOps Engineer at Durianpay, you will ensure our systems' performance, reliability, and scalability. This role involves managing cloud infrastructure, automating processes, and applying SRE principles to improve operational efficiency. You will play a key role in scaling and securing our infrastructure in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities

Design, manage, and scale environments for faster delivery, fewer production issues, and improved team tooling.
Build and manage cloud infrastructure (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure), ensuring cost optimization, efficient configuration, security, and compliance.
Develop CI/CD pipelines, automate infrastructure management using Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and streamline deployment processes.
Maintain production availability, enforce SLOs/SLAs, and leverage automation for system reliability.
Set up, monitor, and maintain system health using logging, alerting, and performance tools.
Lead incident response and perform root cause analysis to maintain operational efficiency.
Collaborate with development and product teams to solve complex problems, ensuring smooth releases and seamless integrations.
Scale infrastructure, optimize performance and resilience, and ensure efficient utilization of cloud resources and cost management.

Must Have Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related fields, or equivalent experience.
3+ years of experience in DevOps, SRE, or Cloud Engineering.
Proficiency with at least one cloud platform (e.g., AWS, GCP, or Azure).
Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, Github Actions, GitLab CI/CD, or CircleCI).
Experience with one or more IaC or CCA tools (e.g., Ansible, Terraform, Helm).
Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies, specifically Docker and Kubernetes.
Proficiency in UNIX-based operating systems and networking concepts.
Experience with monitoring, logging and alerting systems (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, ELK, PagerDuty).
Proficiency in scripting (e.g., Python, Bash).
Proactive and eager to learn, with strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.

Nice to Have Qualifications

Hands-on experience implementing and maintaining systems compliant with PCI DSS standards.
Familiarity with ISO 27001 or other relevant ISO standards for information security management.
Ability to design and operate secure infrastructure in adherence to regulatory and industry compliance frameworks.
