Senior Hybrid Mobile Developer

Primary Role:

Senior Hybrid Mobile Developer works as a key contributor within the development team and, when required, collaborates with client teams. The role is responsible for designing and developing front-end solutions for both web and mobile applications using hybrid technologies.

Working Relationships:

• Report directly to the Scrum Master / Line Manager/ Tech Lead
• Work closely with project team members and support functions
• Collaborate with client teams when required
• Communicate with assigned Coach regarding job performance and career development

Job Responsibilities

• Act as a senior developer contributing to the design and development of web and hybrid mobile applications
• Implement standards-compliant, cross-browser front-end code for enterprise web and mobile applications using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
• Build responsive web applications that work across modern desktop, tablet, and mobile browsers
• Develop complex JavaScript applications using popular frameworks and libraries that integrate with back-end services via APIs
• Develop hybrid mobile applications using HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and Cordova
• Produce clear and maintainable technical documentation to support implementation and maintenance
• Work closely with the manager and team members to ensure quality, schedule, and scope of work
• Actively participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement of development practices

Job Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in web/front-end development
• Strong experience in developing front-end web applications using one or more JavaScript frameworks such as AngularJS, EmberJS, or ReactJS
• Experience in building hybrid mobile applications using Ionic framework
• Solid knowledge of Responsive Web Design and front-end frameworks such as Bootstrap or Foundation.
• Hands-on experience in developing hybrid mobile applications using Ionic and Cordova, including application distribution processes for iOS and Android
• Strong skills in UI development using HTML, CSS, especially HTML5/CSS3, with good understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues
• Familiar with SCRUM framework, JIRA Agile, and CI tools such as Jenkins
• Experience or basic knowledge in server-side programming (Java or .NET technologies such as ASP.NET, MVC, SharePoint), web services, and JSON is a plus
• Strong teamwork skills with the ability to collaborate, share knowledge, and contribute to team objectives
• Ability to work under pressure, take responsibility, and maintain a positive, professional attitude
• Good command of English (speaking, reading, and writing)

Education / Training:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
