Job Summary

We are seeking a Data Engineer to join a globally distributed team focused on transforming the organization’s data landscape into a valuable asset for business stakeholders. In this role, you will design, implement, and support scalable data pipelines using a combination of in-house and vendor platforms.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams across different time zones to ensure reliable data integration, transformation, and delivery that supports analytics and reporting needs.

Job Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines and data integration workflows.
Transform and structure data between different data models and reporting formats.
Ensure the reliability, performance, and accuracy of data processing pipelines.
Work closely with technical and business teams to understand data requirements and deliver effective solutions.
Support troubleshooting, debugging, and testing of data processes and pipelines.
Document data architecture, data mappings, and workflows using collaboration tools.
Participate in Agile sprint planning, task tracking, and issue resolution.

Job Qualifications

3+ years of experience working with database platforms and SQL.
2+ years of experience developing, debugging, and testing code.
Experience using Atlassian tools, including Jira for sprint management and issue tracking, and Confluence for documentation.
1+ year of experience in data transformation, including working with different data models or preparing data for reporting.
Good understanding of data structures, data modeling concepts, and design patterns.
Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred Skills

Experience with data transformation tools such as Dataiku or Alteryx Designer.
Programming experience in Python or Java.
Familiarity with data modeling tools such as Erwin.
Experience working with AWS or relevant AWS certifications.
Experience working in distributed or global teams.
