Eagleview, the leader in aerial imagery, is hiring a Sr. Platform Engineer (Frontend Developer)

Responsibilities

Architect and design scalable, performant frontend applications using React, Next.js, Redux, and TypeScript
Drive frontend architecture decisions, establish coding standards, design patterns, and best practices across the team
Lead and conduct thorough PR/code reviews, ensuring code quality, consistency, and adherence to design principles
Build reusable component libraries and design systems that promote consistency and developer productivity
Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior and mid-level developers on the team
Collaborate with product managers, designers, and backend engineers to translate business requirements and UI/UX designs into robust technical implementations
Optimize frontend performance, including bundle size, rendering efficiency, accessibility, and cross-browser compatibility
Integrate frontend applications with backend APIs and services, ensuring seamless data flow and user experience
Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and release processes for frontend applications
Stay current with emerging frontend technologies and trends, evaluating and recommending adoption where appropriate
Leverage AI-assisted development tools (e.g., Cursor, Kiro, AI-powered code review tools) to improve development velocity and code quality

Qualifications

BS or MS in Computer Science or related field or equivalent work experience
8-10 years of total experience in software development
5+ years of recent, hands-on experience with modern frontend technologies: React, Next.js, Redux, TypeScript, JavaScript
Strong understanding of frontend architecture and design principles — component design, state management patterns, separation of concerns, and scalable project structure
Demonstrated experience with responsive design, accessibility (a11y), and cross-browser compatibility
Proven track record of leading code reviews and elevating code quality across a team
Demonstrated experience with SDLC methodologies and tools, with good understanding of data structures and algorithms
Strong understanding of RESTful APIs and frontend-backend integration patterns
