Full Stack Engineer

Looking for energetic, creative hands on full stack engineers to be part of a fast paced, dynamic agile squad. Our ways of working help to reduce time to market and maximize value delivered through accelerating the product life cycle delivery and deployment. This role focuses on architecting and building the Content Authoring Platform and contributing to the evolution of Core microservices. You will employ modern development practices, including AI-assisted workflows, to maximize value and accelerate product delivery.

2. Contribute to a strong engineering culture through modern technology adoption and technical design.

3. Work with cross-functional teams (Usability, Product Management, Operations) to design end-to-end solutions.

4. Imbibe Agile values and actively participate in all Scrum ceremonies.

Job Description

1. Design, develop, and deploy scalable application components and microservices.

2. Leverage AI tools and LLMs for code generation, automated debugging, and optimizing daily development workflows.

3. Adhere to DOD (story definition of done) as part of the sprint, including unit tests, functional testing, code reviews, no regressions, bug fixes, documentation and adhere to best coding practices.

4. Deliver high-quality software in adherence with security, longevity, and integration testing policies.

5. Master the domain knowledge in the area of assignment.

6. Take ownership of features post release; considering customer adoption as a primary success metric.

7. Volunteer for work in the backlog and commit to quality delivery; Coordinate efforts across the team to ensure completion and effectiveness.

8. Participate and contribute to scrum meetings i.e. daily stand-up, sprint planning, readouts and retrospectives.

9. Work collaboratively across the Technology and Product organizations to ensure alignment towards business goals.

Technical Experience

1. Strong knowledge and experience in Object Oriented Programming, Analysis and Design concepts.

2. Proficiency in Node.js and RESTful Microservices.

3. Hands-on experience with Angular or React.js, including TypeScript, CSS, and state management. 4. Working experience in SQL databases (e.g. MySQL, PostgreSQL)

5. Very comfortable using GIT version control tool (we use Bitbucket) and familiarity with AI-assisted coding assistants.

Academic and Professional Expertise

1. Holds an academic degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or Computational Science.

2. 1 to 2 years of working experience as full stack engineer

3. Ambitious individual who can work under their own direction towards agreed targets/goals.

4. Experience in working in Agile scrum teams.

5. Ability to handle change and be open to it along with good time management and an able to work under stress

6. Respond to technical queries / requests from team members and customers

7. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

8. Ability to work with minimal direction with a focus on customer satisfaction

9. Creative problem-solving skills and superb communication skills.
