Engineer - Software Development-Software (India)

Elevate is seeking a Software Engineer Automation to build and scale an AI-driven automation platform similar to Pinkfish, n8n, Zapier, or Workato. The platform enables users to create workflows, orchestrate AI agents, integrate with enterprise systems, and automate business processes. You will work on workflow engines, AI orchestration layers, API integrations, browser automation, and distributed execution systems.

Specifically, Engineer - Software Development will

• Design and build workflow orchestration engines. Implement task scheduling, retries, and state management.
• Build job queues and distributed execution frameworks. Support parallel execution, conditional flows, and event triggers
• Build connectors for SaaS platforms and APIs. Implement webhooks, event triggers, and polling mechanisms
• Develop OAuth-based authentication and secure API integrations
• Create SDKs for building custom workflow nodes
• Build infrastructure for AI agent workflows. Integrate LLM services and AI tools into automation pipelines
• Implement agent orchestration and decision logic. Build tools for document processing, data extraction, and AI reasoning
• Design microservices-based automation infrastructure. Implement event-driven architecture
• Build logging, observability, and audit trails. Ensure high reliability and scalability
  
  

Experience

• 3+ years of software development experience
• Strong backend or platform engineering experience
• Experience building API-driven systems
• Experience building low-code or no-code platforms
• Experience building plugin or connector ecosystems
• Understanding of observability, logging, and distributed tracing
