In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

• Collaborate with cross-functional team members to test features within the Ovation platform and related applications.
• Execute smoke, first-pass, regression, functional, system, compatibility, and performance testing, clearly documenting and communicating results.
• Design, maintain, and execute test plans, test cases, and test scenarios across multiple software and hardware configurations.
• Develop and enhance automated test scripts and manage test data workflows, with opportunities to use AI-assisted testing tools.
• Identify, log, and track defects, working closely with project leads to reproducing, analyzing, and supporting resolution of issues.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of testing processes, tools, and practices to enhance overall product quality.
• Support knowledge sharing and ongoing skill development within the engineering and testing community.

For This Role, You Will Need:

• Bachelor’s degree in Instrumentation, Electrical, Electronics and Communication Engineering or any related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in product or system testing within complex software and hardware environments, such as distributed or industrial control systems.
• Working knowledge of testing methodologies, including functional, system, compatibility, and performance testing.
• Experience installing and configuring Windows operating systems, drivers, and patches.
• Ability to identify opportunities for improving test coverage, efficiency, and quality.
• Exposure to field instruments, controllers, human-machine interfaces, and industrial communication technologies.
  
  

Preferred Qualifications That Set You Apart:

• Experience with test automation tools such as TestComplete, Selenium, or Playwright.
• Familiarity with virtualization technologies and environments.
• Foundational understanding of power plants or industrial control systems.
• Basic programming or scripting skills in languages such as C, C++, or Python.
• Knowledge of networking concepts and communication protocols.
• Formal training or certification in software testing principles (e.g., ISTQB Foundation Level)
