Data Analyst

Key Responsibilities

Design and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using Tableau or Power BI to monitor KPIs and support operational/business decision-making

Develop automated data pipelines in Python and SQL to extract, clean, and transform large, complex datasets from multiple sources

Partner with business, product, and tech stakeholders to gather requirements, define KPIs, and translate data into clear business recommendations

Perform root cause analysis on data mismatches and production reporting issues, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and reliability

Manage data assets in platforms like Databricks with Unity Catalog, enforcing governance, access control, and compliance

Lead A/B testing and experiment design to optimize campaigns, product features, and user engagement

Investigate market/operational data usage and entitlements to identify cost-saving opportunities and improve visibility

Liaise with external vendors like Bloomberg, Refinitiv to resolve data definitions, usage charges, and data-related queries

Document data processes, reporting logic, and validation rules to ensure operational clarity and continuity

Mentor junior analysts and promote best practices in data visualization, SQL, and Python Required

Skills & Qualifications

4+ years of experience in data analysis, BI, or data analytics roles

Expert proficiency in SQL: MySQL, PostgreSQL for complex queries and schema design

Strong Python skills with Pandas, NumPy for data manipulation and automation

Hands-on experience with Tableau, Power BI, and Advanced Excel

Proven experience building and maintaining data pipelines and automating reporting workflows

Solid background in data mining, transformation, and statistical analysis including A/B testing and hypothesis testing

Experience with cloud/data platforms: Databricks, GCP, AWS, or Informatica

Strong stakeholder management skills with ability to translate business needs into data solutions Experience supporting production reporting systems and resolving data integrity issues

Preferred Qualifications

Domain experience in financial services/market data, healthcare, or gaming

Experience with Unity Catalog, data governance, and vendor data management
