Job Description

JOB DESCRIPTION


We are seeking a highly skilled and proactive AI, Integration & Automation Support Engineer to support the deployment, maintenance, and continuous improvement of integration, automation, and Generative AI platforms across the organization.


The ideal candidate possesses hands-on expertise across integration platforms, automation frameworks, Generative AI systems, cloud technologies (especially Microsoft Azure), data engineering processes, and DevOps practices, with a proven track record of delivering exceptional performance to ensure system stability, reliability, and availability.


This role is critical in ensuring the smooth implementation, operation, and optimization of AI-driven and integration-based solutions. You will work closely with delivery, engineering, and operations teams to enable seamless solution rollouts, provide advanced troubleshooting, and maintain high-performing, scalable systems across environments.



RESPONSIBILITIES


1) GenAI Application & Platform Support

  • Support configuration, deployment, and operation of Generative AI workloads, including LLM services, RAG pipelines, vector search, and embedding workflows
  • Monitor AI system performance, usage, and health to ensure high availability and reliability
  • Troubleshoot issues related to model performance, latency, pipeline failures, integration gaps, and environment inconsistencies
  • Support dataset preparation for vector indexing, model operations, and downstream automation
  • Manage and support Azure AI services (e.g., Azure OpenAI, Cognitive Services, Azure ML, Azure Functions, App Services)
  • Handle provisioning, monitoring, logging, and cost optimization of cloud resources
  • Ensure compliance with enterprise security, identity, and governance standards
  • Optimize cloud infrastructure for scalability, performance, and resilience


2) Data Engineering & Ingestion Support

  • Maintain and troubleshoot data ingestion and processing pipelines
  • Work with tools such as Azure Data Factory, Azure Data Lake, Databricks, or Airflow
  • Perform data validation, transformation checks, and ensure high data quality for AI workloads
  • Support data readiness for analytics, AI models, and automation processes


3) CI/CD & Code Operations

  • Support Git-based workflows for version control, branching, and release management
  • Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or similar tools
  • Manage automated deployments, environment configurations, and infrastructure-as-code practices
  • Troubleshoot build, release, and deployment issues across development, staging, and production environments


4) System Integration & Automation

  • Develop, maintain, and support integration solutions including APIs, middleware, and ESB platforms
  • Design and manage automation workflows using RPA tools (e.g., Blue Prism, UiPath, Automation Anywhere)
  • Integrate AI solutions with enterprise systems, backend services, and APIs
  • Maintain seamless end-to-end automation and integration processes

5) Business-as-Usual (BAU) Operations

  • Continuously monitor system health, performance, and availability of AI, integration, and automation platforms
  • Perform routine maintenance including patching, upgrades, and log management
  • Troubleshoot and resolve incidents affecting AI, integration, or automation workflows
  • Conduct root cause analysis and ensure timely resolution with minimal disruption
  • Escalate complex issues when necessary and coordinate with vendors or internal teams
  • Provide technical support and resolve user queries related to supported platforms
  • Ensure high-quality service delivery and user satisfaction
  • Maintain accurate documentation of systems, incidents, and resolutions
  • Ensure adherence to organizational security policies and regulatory requirements
  • Monitor and mitigate vulnerabilities and unauthorized access risks
  • Debug and resolve technical issues across systems and workflows
  • Manage post-production support, including bug fixes, enhancements, and stabilization
  • Maintain detailed records of issues and improvements for continuous learning
  • Ensure reliability and availability across AI, integration, and automation platforms
  • Implement upgrades, new features, and improved capabilities in collaboration with stakeholders
  • Forecast system demand and optimize infrastructure to support growth
  • Stay updated with emerging trends in AI, integration, and automation


6) Collaboration & Delivery Support

  • Work closely with delivery, engineering, and operations teams to ensure smooth implementation and go-live readiness
  • Support deployment activities, operational handovers, and knowledge transfer sessions
  • Collaborate with architects and developers to resolve complex technical and integration challenges


7) Tools & Development Ecosystem

  • Use GitHub / RTC for version control and collaboration
  • Build and manage CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or similar platforms


SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS


1) Technical Skills:

  • Experience with integration, automation, and AI platforms, including Blue Prism, IBM App Connect Enterprise, IBM MQ, IBM DataPower, SFTP, custom APIs, and Generative AI components (LLMs, RAG, embeddings, inference)
  • Knowledge of enterprise system architecture, integration patterns, APIs, microservices, and cloud networking
  • Experience with Microsoft Azure for cloud provisioning, monitoring and security
  • Experience in data engineering processes, including ETL/ELT pipelines using Azure Data Factory
  • Experience with DevOps and CI/CD practices using Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, including version control and automated deployments
  • Knowledge of scripting and programming languages such as Python, PowerShell, and Bash
  • Experience with monitoring, logging, and observability tools such as Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Grafana
  • Experience in troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and resolving complex technical issues
  • Knowledge of performance tuning, bottleneck identification, and system optimization techniques
  • Understanding of scalability and capacity planning for enterprise systems
  • Experience in maintaining documentation, reporting, and knowledge sharing for systems and operations

JOB REQUIREMENTS


  • Malaysian citizen.
  • Pass Malay Language including an oral test at the Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) level.
  • Possess a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or an equivalent qualification in a relevant field recognized by the Government, with a minimum CGPA of 3.00.
  • Requires 3 - 5 years of relevant hands-on experience in IT operations, cloud engineering, application support, DevOps, data engineering, or AI systems support
  • Minimum 2 - 4 years of experience supporting cloud platforms, servers, and application services in production environments
  • Experience supporting AI, integration, and automation platforms, including enterprise applications, middleware, and related services
  • Proven track record in handling critical incidents, troubleshooting complex issues, and ensuring system stability across AI, integration, automation, and service layers
  • Experience with system monitoring tools, platform architecture, and performance optimization across servers, applications, and cloud environments
  • Knowledge of platform integrations, automation workflows, APIs, and service orchestration, with the ability to recommend improvements
  • Experience supporting end-to-end systems, including infrastructure (servers), platforms, and application services
  • Experience working in enterprise or multi-system environments with high availability and reliability requirements is an advantage
  • Understanding of key design principles.
