Job Title: Cloud And Infra Data Engineer – Senior

Job Summary:

We are seeking a Senior Cloud & Infra Data Engineer with up to 8 years of experience in cloud infrastructure and operational data enablement, with strong database skills to support modernization, configuration/state data processing, telemetry ingestion, and migration-related datasets.

Key Responsibilities:

• Build and maintain data ingestion pipelines for infra telemetry, logs, config/state data, and migration datasets.
• Perform database extraction, transformation, and loading for modernization and migration workflows.
• Support legacy RDBMS modernization into cloud-managed services (Azure SQL, AWS RDS, PostgreSQL, MySQL).
• Implement DB scripts, stored procedures, indexing strategies, backups, and DR configurations for operational databases.
• Configure cloud storage tiers, DB access controls, IAM policies, encryption, and lifecycle management.
• Troubleshoot DB connectivity, schema inconsistencies, performance issues, and migration failures.
• Automate DB and data workflows using SQL, Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
• Assist in LLD creation, DB mapping documentation, schema optimization, and operational DB runbooks.
  
  

Qualifications:

• Up to 8 years of experience with cloud/infra engineering and strong database administration/data ops capabilities.
• Hands-on experience with:
• Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MySQL
• Cloud DB services (Azure SQL, PostgreSQL Flexible Server, AWS RDS)
• Strong SQL skills including schema creation, optimization, indexing, joins, views, triggers, and tuning.
• Experience performing DB migrations, data restructuring, and schema alignment.
• Understanding of IAM, encryption, networking, monitoring, and cloud storage fundamentals.
• Familiarity with ETL/ELT concepts applied to infra and operational data, not BI workloads.
  
  

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with migration factories, DC exits, or hybrid cloud platform rollouts.
• Understanding of metadata, retention, lineage, and audit requirements for infra ops data.
• Exposure to IaC, pipelines, and cloud observability tooling.
• Strong troubleshooting skills across DB, storage, and connectivity layers.
