📋 Role Overview

• Design, develop, and deliver solutions to migrate data from SQL Server to Databricks
• Build and optimize data pipelines using Apache Spark and Airflow
• Work with Data Lake, Delta Lake, and Lakehouse architecture
• Develop and manage data marts and warehouses using Star/Snowflake schemas
• Drive enterprise database design and implementation using MS SQL / Azure SQL
• Participate in rapid prototyping, POC development, and release planning
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality, scalable data solutions

🔧 Must-Have Skills

• Databricks, Apache Spark & Airflow
• MS SQL Server & Azure SQL
• Data Lake & Delta Lake
• DBT Cloud & Unity Catalog
• Azure Data Factory (ADF)
• 5+ years in advanced SQL – stored procedures, views, triggers, performance tuning, DDL/DML
• Data Migration experience

⭐ Good to Have

• Lakehouse architecture experience
• Working knowledge of Web API, REST & JSON
• Experience with source/version control systems and branching strategies
• Unit testing experience

Experience: 6+ years total | 5+ years relevant

Qualification: Bachelor's Degree (or 5+ years equivalent experience)
