Automation Test Engineer

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

Build reliable test automation pipelines integrating CI/CD systems.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including developers, product owners, and overseas partners to understand requirements and deliver high‑quality solutions.
Perform functional, regression, integration, and performance testing.
Debug issues, perform root-cause analysis, and contribute to improving product quality.
Stay updated with emerging tools, technologies, and best practices in test automation and quality engineering.
Maintain automation frameworks for web and API testing.
Required Skills

Hands-on experience with at least one programming/scripting language (Python, Java, JavaScript, etc.).
Strong proficiency in API testing and web application testing.
Good understanding of Linux, Bash scripting, and Docker.
Basic to intermediate knowledge of Cloud platforms (AWS / Azure).
Strong willingness to learn new tools, frameworks, and technology stacks.
Ability to coordinate and work effectively with overseas counterparts.
Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).

Good-to-Have Skills

Hands-on experience designing or managing automation frameworks.
Familiarity with monitoring tools (e.g., Datadog).
Experience with GIT or other version control systems.
Knowledge of automation/infrastructure tools like Ansible, Terraform, or Puppet.
Experience with performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter).

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
